Brian is a native of Waukee, Iowa. He received his Bachelors Degree from Grand View College in Des Moines, Iowa. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants. Brian holds the National Association of Security Dealers (NASD) General Securities, General Securities Sales Supervisor, Uniform Investment Adviser and Futures Managed Funds licenses with LPL Financial. He is also fully licensed in the areas of life and health insurance.
- Grew up in a family of teachers and public service employees and has been assisting them with their finances since he was in high school.

Brian holds the National Association of Security Dealers (NASD) Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Products Limited Representative license with LPL Financial. He is also fully licensed in the areas of life and health insurance. Brian is currently a Major in the Iowa Air National Guard where he is a pilot of the KC-135 Stratotanker.
- As a member of the military since 1997, Brian has an intimate knowledge of the military and civil service pay, benefits and retirement programs.
